Books Every Entrepreneur Should Read

October 24, 2018

Have you ever heard of a successful entrepreneur who wasn’t well-read? Probably not. While I’m not sure that it is statistically proven that these two characteristics are exclusively correlated, I do think that there is some sort of dependence. Being well read means being well versed in a variety of areas that set you apart from the average Joe. This is what will put you light years above your competitors. The more you know, the more you can implement, and the more advice you can get from others’ experience, the less mistakes you personally have to make (or, at least the more room you leave for yourself to make new, different mistakes.)

There are so many amazing books out there with a wealth of knowledge to help you, whether you are looking to begin your business venture or simply continue to grow it. At the end of the day, the successful are those who are continuously learning.

If you aren’t sure where to begin, below is a list of crowd-chosen books that all entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs alike should take a peak at. There are countless more that are awesome and have helped so many people, but this is a great starting place.

  • $100 Start Up - Chris Guillebeau

  • Tools of Titans - Tim Ferris

  • Outliers - Malcolm Gladwell

  • Deep Work - Cal Newport

  • Power Broke - Daymond John

  • Start With Why - Simon Sinek

  • The Lean Startup - Eric Ries

  • Zero to One - Peter Thiel

  • 4 Hour Work Week - Tim Ferris

  • The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People

If you read any of these, we would love to hear your thoughts. Also, let us know in the comments below what other books you would recommend to all entrepreneurs!
