Made Here Market Returns to Cookeville: Makers Wanted

November 10, 2019

COOKEVILLE, TN - The Biz Foundry is now accepting maker applications for the 2020 Made Here Market. The market date is set for April 25 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will once again feature makers, artists, and entrepreneurs from across the Upper Cumberland region, but The Biz Foundry hopes to make the 2020 market even better than the last.

Last year’s market welcomed over 50 makers/creators and 4,000 visitors throughout the day. Items available at the market included photography, paintings, quilts, local food, and home decor. Everything available at the market came from right here in the Upper Cumberland Region.

The event takes place near 114 N. Cedar and will host bands, food trucks and an overall appreciation and respect for creators of the community.

Haley Smith, Director of Marketing and Communications for The Biz Foundry, say, "Made Here Market is a great opportunity to see the diverse and abundant talents of our community. It’s also a wonderful way to promote your art and handmade products to local customers.”

In anticipation of next year’s market, The Biz Foundry invites all makers, artists, crafters, and creators apply as vendors. Experience selling is nice, but it is not required. Many of last years market vendors had never sold their creations before. Applications are open and will remain open until December 15th. To apply and to learn more about Made Here Market, visit the event webpage at thebizfoundry.org/mhm.
